Representation for Design at the CTO level put me in touch with both our C level clients and new projects.
While working for the CTO I ran the executive feedback board for our clients, organizing a large meeting twice a year. This work put me in touch with how IBM was collecting feedback for future direction and allowed me to introduce design concepts into the meeting to improve the feedback. With the use of Design Thinking workshop we were able to really engage the clients and dive deeper into their goals for the future.
I also worked on cutting edge technology to get it started and mature it. Some of the more know projects are BlueMix which is now IBM Cloud, IBM Service Engage which is now IBM Market Place. For both of these technologies I brought the design process and goals to drive the product forward. I also worked to coordinate all areas of IBM who wanted to participate in the project. For this work I was awarded an Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.
